POSITION OVERVIEW
Burn Boot Camp is looking for a caring and compassionate Childwatch Lead who has experience caring for children ages eight weeks to twelve years old. We are committed to providing top quality care and a welcoming environment that reflects the Burn commitment to the community. Our goal is to enhance the lives of every child that attends our facility and ensure a safe, engaging, and clean environment.
ACCOUNTABILITY
Leadership and management of Childwatch team
Member Experience
Execution of Childwatch process
Facility Management in Childwatch room
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead a team of Childwatch team members, including scheduling, interviewing and training.
Greet children and parents with a High Five and Smile.
Ensure all children have completed the waiver and understand the general room rules.
Ensure execution of Childwatch processes.
Facility management of Childwatch room - keep items in working order and clean.
Opening/Closing duties such as cleaning toys, wiping surfaces, vacuuming, etc.
Interact and engage with children in play or craft time accordingly.
Provide a safe and fun environment for children of various age groups.
QUALIFICATIONS
A problem solver
Able to identify areas to improve processes, simplify, and become more efficient
Highly organized
Caring and compassionate
Patient
Able to remain calm in difficult situations
A good communicator
Able to lift 30-40 pounds
Preferred to have a valid CPR and First Aid certification
Preferred to have experience in childcare
