Squint/Opera New York is looking for an enthusiastic multidisciplinary Visual Designer to join our studio. The role requires a wide range of design skills and interests across interactive, brand, print, 3D, 2D, and animation design. The Visual Designer will closely collaborate with the Creative Director and Producers, developing media for exhibition projects in the cultural and brand sectors.
Main responsibilities
Supporting the creation of concepts and mockups for film, motion, and interactive media under the direction of the Creative DirectorCreating presentation materials for existing projects and new businessContent and design research as needed under the direction of the Creative Director and ProducerCollaboration with internal team consisting of software developers, producers, and illustrators across London and New YorkFile management and organizationAsset wrangling and managementAttends meetings, workshops, and shoots as neededExperience
2-3 years experience working professionally in the industryPreferable to have a degree in design, motion or animationA portfolio/reel that showcases your talent in design and animationStrong knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite - shortcuts and efficient workflow a mustExperience with Google Suite[Desirable]
Experience with FigmaExperience with Cinema 4dBasic understanding of Unity /digital pipelineCharacter traits

Salary Pay Range
$75,000-$90,000 USD
Hours
This is a full-time position.
Our working hours are 9:30am - 6:00pm [Monday through Friday, with one hour for lunch]
We currently have a hybrid approach to working with a mixture of in-house and remote days.
