Overview:

This position serves as a CoralTree Hospitality product expert to the meetings industry and is responsible for generating group business from a defined global market, maximization of sales, development of strategic accounts and emerging markets, and sound administration of assigned responsibilities. This position will maintain a primary focus on generating business from assigned vertical business segments and/or designated strategic accounts within the positioned assigned region.Responsibilities:Identifies both new and existing sources of group business for all properties and books this business across the portfolio.Conduct regular sales calls visits to target areas, strategic accounts, and vertical business segments located in a specific market or geographic region.Assists property Sales Managers in closing business as needed.Assumes a leadership role in industry organizations to generate increased visibility for CoralTree HospitalityLead/assist with coordination and participation in industry trade shows and events.Develop group sales missions and city visits for property sales professionals as needed.Develop major customer appreciation events in key feeder markets.Familiar with legality of contractual agreements and the processes related to negotiating preferred vendor agreement.Review and assist in the creation of Sales Activity and Regional Group Strategies on a Bi- monthly basis with the Global TeamQuarterly review and manage Budget for Dept. with the assistance from SVP Sales, Marketing & Revenue and SVP of Finance at CoralTree Hospitality.Ambassador of the Global Group team at on-property, regional and ownership meetings when requested by SVP Sales, Marketing & RevenueReview Pace and Production every other week working with analyst to achieve goals for the team and each regionSenior leader to assist with transition and new openings where group can impact the property.Qualifications:

A minimum of 5 years experience in a group sales role on a property or in a multi property direct sales position is required.Prior experience selling multiple destinations and multiple brands a plusExperience selling within the East Coast region primarily focused on corporate vertical markets is strongly preferred.Excellent Communication Skills both verbal and written requiredCRM experience preferred the team currently uses iVvy to manage funnel, contacts and activities.
