Inside Sales Manager

Manage relationships with select agencies predominantly through telephonic and video interactions, ensuring diligent follow-up on discussions and commitments. Work with Sales Managers to coordinate activities and actions involving agencies. Ensure that products, growth, and loss ratio are in line with SECURAs strategy.

RESPONSIBILITIES:Ability to market and front-line underwrite insurance products to independent agentsOwns relationships with select individual agencies, aggregators, small business units, and geographically remote agency partnersManage growth and loss ratio on a continuous basis for assigned territoryAssist in training agents in products, rating/and or technology platforms, and procedures to achieve corporate strategiesPartner with both internal and external partners: Agencies, Underwriting, Claims, and Risk Management to identify and maintain profitable businessOnboard new agencies to facilitate success, both short-term and long-termIncrease submissions and improve hit ratiosWork with Agency and Underwriting to manage renewal bookDrive and conduct BizLink usage and training sessionsIdentify training needs within the agencies and assist/coordinate with training departmentAnalyze, develop, and implement strategies for expansion of products and agencies to support corporate strategiesBe proficient in SECURA's four business units (CL/SL/FL/AG of business we insure as a company)Be able to lead, organize and carry out virtual meetings often with our agency partners and internal departments. Proficient use of Zoom or Microsoft TEAMSHave the ability to build strong relationshipsConsistently going above and beyond to ensure ease for our agents to do business with us as efficiently as possibleServe as Resource Manager for our currently contracted agenciesDemonstrate an exceptional effort to active listeningCoordinate travel with members of various Underwriting unitsCreatively connect with our agencies through digital mediaActively recruit new agenciesBe active with various trade organizations. PIA, IIA, 1752, etcFacilitate book rolls, data-mines and identify opportunities within an agency's current book.Act as key resource to SECURA for territory developments, competitor analysis, and economic development in the territoryOther duties as assignedQUALIFICATIONS:ESSENTIAL:

Two plus years property and casualty insurance experienceComprehensive knowledge of the marketplaceStrong Financial/Business acumenExcellent verbal and written communication skillsSuperior problem-solving skills and solutions driven mindsetResults oriented personality with a strong desire to pursue set goalsDetermined and amiable personalityPREFERRED:

Bachelor's degree in business or equivalent work experienceCommercial Underwriting/Claims (Field) experienceMarketing or Sales experienceCPCU, CIC, or ARM designation(s)Two plus years successful agency/company marketing or sales experienceStrong background in Commercial, Personal, and SpecialtyWorking knowledge of Agency Automation
