This position serves as a Salesforce Business Analyst performing complex professional and advisory business process analysis, and process re-engineering functions for the Salesforce platform. In this role you will coordinate projects and conduct business requirements workshops with key stakeholders and users to determine business requirements. In addition, you will prepare testing plans, test scripts, and test data for new or modified programs and/or systems and; analyze and recommend new procedures and techniques to improve the requirements gathering, articulation process and data modeling, testing,and documentation process. Essential Functions

Under administrative direction, serves a Salesforce Business Analyst for the Department of Innovation & Technology (DoIT):Prepares testing plans, test scripts, and test data for new or modified programs and/or systems.Analyzes and recommends new procedures and techniques to improve the requirements gathering, articulation process and data modeling, testing and documentation process.Keeps abreast of new developments in the Information Technology field:Performs other duties as required or assigned which are reasonably within the scope of the duties enumerated above.

Minimum Qualifications

Requires knowledge, skill, and mental development equivalent to four (4) years of college with course work in computer science or directly related fields.Requires three (3) years of professional experience in Applications Services or a related Information Technology field.

Specialized Skills

Requires three (3) years of professional experience in software development delivery.Requires three (3) years of professional experience as Salesforce Business Analyst or Project Coordinator.Requires three (3) years of professional experience with requirement gathering or requirement management in Salesforce software development.Requires three (3) years of professional experience with system development life cycle (SDLC) using waterfall and agile methodology.

Preferred Qualifications

Three (3) years of professional experience in software development delivery.Three (3) years of professional experience as a Salesforce Business Analyst or Project Coordinator.Three (3) years of professional experience with requirement gathering or requirement management in Salesforce software development.Three (3) years of professional experience with system development life cycle (SDLC) using Waterfall and Agile methodology.Working knowledge of project management tools such as MS PowerPoint, MS Visio, MS Project, MS Teams Azure, DevOps or similar tools.Ability to identify, analyze, test, and implement the changes related to requirements or business process.Ability to gain and maintain effective working relationships with associates, vendors, clients and others.Developed verbal and written communication skills to present technical information to large and small audiences with clarity and precision.Ability to research Salesforce.com best practices and apply functionality in performance and maturity of the platform.Certification in Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, or Salesforce.com Business Analyst.
