Data Center Administrator -
to join our Network Facilities Team. Must have a proven background in supporting enterprise IT equipment in Data Closets/Data Centers!
Onsite at our Columbia, SC data centerRequired Qualifications of the Data Center Administrator:Applicants
must be authorized to work in the U.S.
We are unable to provide sponsorship or work with Third-Party agencies.Required Degree Equivalency: 4 years of job related work experience or 2 years of job related experience plus an associate s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or other job related degreeTop 2-4 REQUIRED technologies : network switches, and other enterprise level IT equipment to include servers, routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers
Responsibilities:Provide support to Layer 1 aspects of the enterprise IT equipment in Data Closets/Data Centers. Also, experience tracing, running, and connecting all types of IT cabling in professional Data Center environments (Copper, Ethernet, Fiber, etc.). You will be responsible for "rack &stack" all network and server equipment in the primary data centers as well as supporting all Data Closets/Server Rooms across the enterprise. Staff includes 50 team members.
Position does require lifting data center equipment.
