Summary

The Intern will be responsible for:Machine Set-up reduction projects, and Lean improvements to support shop production.Manage machine/welding/assembly/pressure test tooling standardization initiatives.Liaise with Product Quality Specialists on non-conformance tracking and resolution.Other duties as assigned.The Intern also will learn about the following:

Streamline material staging and set-ups for production jobs.Machining and Welding principles.Pressure Testing process.Routing and process planning with work methods.Skills/Requirements

Currently enrolled and working toward completion of Bachelor or Graduate degree from an accredited university or college with Mechanical or Industrial Engineering majors preferred.Minimum GPA of 3.0.Good interpersonal skills to drive collaboration across multiple functions to achieve desired results.Ability to work independently or within a larger team as required by the project and subsystem.Familiarity with Microsoft office products, i.e., Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.Strong verbal and written communication.Strong work ethic and attention to detail.Additional Information

Must be legally authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis, now or in the future, without employer sponsorship for employment visa status.No relocation assistance provided.
