Job Description:
The Hilton Garden Inn Baton Rouge Airport is seeking a dynamic and experienced General Manager to lead our hotel to new heights. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of driving operational excellence, improving key performance metrics, and delivering outstanding guest experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee all aspects of hotel operations, including guest services, housekeeping, maintenance, food and beverage, and sales.
Develop and implement strategies to improve key operational metrics, such as guest satisfaction scores, RevPAR, occupancy rates, and overall profitability.
Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team to ensure efficient and effective hotel operations.
Manage financial performance by analyzing data, controlling costs, and maximizing revenue opportunities.
Ensure compliance with brand standards and local regulations, maintaining the highest level of service quality.
Foster a positive work environment that promotes teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Build and maintain strong relationships with guests, corporate clients, vendors, and the local community.
Monitor and respond to guest feedback, implementing corrective actions to enhance guest satisfaction.
Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to drive occupancy and increase market share.
Report regularly to ownership on the hotel's performance, including operational and financial metrics.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a General Manager or in a senior leadership role within the hospitality industry.
Strong background in improving key operational metrics, with a focus on guest satisfaction, financial performance, and team development.
Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse team.
Solid understanding of hotel operations, including revenue management, cost control, and guest service excellence.
Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions to drive business results.
Experience with Hilton or similar hotel brands is preferred.
Strong financial acumen and experience managing budgets, forecasts, and P&L statements.
