The Accounts Payable Supervisor will report to the Accounting Manager and is responsible for all activities in the accounts payable function which includes ensuring timely payments of vendor invoices and expenses while maintaining accurate records and control reports. Additionally, this role includes people management and is responsible for the day-to-day performance and ensuring project and department milestones are met. Duties and Responsibilities: Oversee the daily operating functions of a high-volume payables department, including vendor management, managing workflows, and ensuring timeliness of payments. Lead and develop a team of 2 direct reports. Oversee monthly, quarterly, and year-end close activities for AP including reconciliations, flux explanations, and journal entries. Help identify, drive, and implement process improvements. Ensure accounts payable operations comply with company policies and internal controls. Manage, coordinate, and support special projects as needed with business partners located across the U.S. Support and execute tax filings and audits. Additional duties and responsibilities may apply. Skills Required: Strong project management and organizational skills. Ability to multitask and prioritize in a high sense of urgency environment. Education and Qualifications: 2+ years of supervisory and people management experience in a high-volume payables department is essential. 5+ years of accounting or accounts payable experience. Preferred Requirements: Degree in Finance or Accounting. Experience with Oracle Netsuite & Tipalti. Experience with ERP & Accounts Payable Implementations.
