The MHP Americas’ MDM Data Governance Solution Architect will support various projects by defining the Enterprise Data Governance roadmap for our clients. This role will need to comprehend technical data architecture and design flexible and agile end-to-end data solutions along the entire value chain of our clients across various industries. The candidate needs to have proven experience in defining and implementing a roadmap for data lifecycle management, including Data Governance, Master Data Management, Data Migration and Data Quality. In addition, the Solution Architect will be required to ensure our services are at the highest level of quality for our existing client base, cultivate relationships with new customers, develop new business opportunities, and continuously adjust our current and future offerings according to market demands.ResponsibilitiesResponsible for design, implementation, and configuration of Data Governance solutions to meet business requirements within an entire ERP project lifecycleCustomize and enhance data models, workflows, and user interfaces within a MDG frameworkLead and support the governance of master data across the organizationCollaborate with business stakeholders to define data standards and ensure data qualityWork on integrating SAP MDG with other SAP modules and third-party systemsCollaborate with the integration team to design and implement data interfacesEstablish and enforce data quality standards and proceduresCreate long term relationships with clients and achieve a strong reputation as a trusted advisor for Data Governance related topicsTake over responsibility as (sub) project team lead and integrate and coach new team membersProvide leadership and mentorship for best practices to other teams, clients and senior managementIdentify and lead generation of business development opportunities around Data GovernanceQualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field5+ years of hands-on experience in Data Governance implementation and configurationIn-depth knowledge of SAP MDG modules and related SAP technologies, preferredStrong understanding of data modeling and data governance principlesProfound ERP project lifecycle and go-live experience, ideally within an SAP environmentProject management experience including project planning, task management and prioritization, and release managementExcellent interpersonal communication skills (oral and written), with the ability to successfully interact with a wide variety of stakeholdersProfessional appearance with strong customer focus and analytical and structured working attitudeStrong attention to details and ability to work autonomously and manage multiple tasks with excellent problem-solving abilitySAP MDG certification is a plusPercentage of required travel: up to 100%Physical requirements:This job operates in an office environment.
