Job Summary

The incumbent will oversee Laker Life's operations, including student activities, student organizations, recreation and wellness programming, Fraternity and Sorority Council, Campus Events Council, student media, etc. Oversee building operations, including the fitness center, group fitness programming, outdoor areas, etc.

Responsibilities

Supervise staff and maintain facilities, serve as budget manager for state and fee budgets, manage software for student organizations (Presence), plan and create an annual robust campus engagement calendar, and collaborate across campus with stakeholders to promote student success.

Required Qualifications

Experience managing student activities programming, Master's degree in higher education administration or relevant field, experience managing a staff, and experience with budgeting.

Preferred Qualifications

Familiarity with Presence or comparable software.

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities

Experience managing student activities programs, knowledge of the higher education budgeting process, familiarity with student development theory, and familiarity with federal and state laws relative to student organizations and student fees.
