(the Company) manufactures engineered fasteners under the SPAX brand for the construction market, TRUFAST for the commercial roofing industry and building envelope and facades. The VP of Sales and Marketing will partner with the organization’s sales leaders to ensure that the sales operations functions support the vision, strategy, and methodologies used to drive the company’s sales strategy and growth across all brands, channels, products and customers. This position will provide oversight and direction to our marketing, product management and technical services, e-commerce, and customer service teams.Our benefits include :Free employee medical, dental, and vision insurance @ 30 daysEmployee referral ($2,000)New hire incentive ($2,000)Vacation timeCompany match 401k @ 30 daysMonthly Cell Phone ReimbursementSemi Annual BonusEssential Responsibilities:Work closely with respective leaders to develop high performing marketing, product management, technical, e-commerce and customer service teams that deliver strategic objectives supporting sales growth.Works closely with sales leaders to understand sales strategies, customer needs, and product opportunities.Understand the needs of sales teams/keys to execute successful sales strategies and prioritize resources and activities to support the successful execution of these strategies.Ensure the delivery of the People Strategy within area of accountability as it relates to training and talent development, setting departmental objectives/KPIs, and assessing ongoing performance of the department.Developing strategic plans, ensuring these strategies remain consistent with the business’s overall strategy.Define the sales team and customer needs for information, reporting, technology, etc. and work with respective areas of the organization to deliver accurate and applicable information and resources – often working closely with the business intelligence and IT teams.Provides an escalation point for more complex or critical customer issues and inquiries.Mentors and coaches team on troubleshooting, solution development, and customer communication best practices.In-depth knowledge and understanding of the market and competitive productsReporting Relationships:This position reports to CSO. Direct supervision of Strategic Marketing Director, Customer Service Manager, Director of Product Management & Technical Services, and the E-Commerce Manager.RequirementsExperience:10+ years of building strong business relationships with customers and understanding customer needs10+ years of progressive leadership experienceBuilding distribution and/or home improvement retail channel preferredEducation:Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or related fieldRequired Skills/Competencies:Embodiment of the Company’s Core ValuesProven track record of leading effective marketing, product, sales, and/or customer service teamsExcellent judgment, critical thinking, and decision-making abilitiesExhibits professional conduct with the utmost integrity and business ethicsSelf-directed with excellent time management skills.Excellent computer skills and proficient use of all Microsoft Office suite programsStrong managerial, communication, analytical and organizational skillsTravel:Must be able to travel; anticipate
