Flexible working arrangementResponsibilities:Draft/review/respond to discovery documents and motionsAttend, take and defend depositions (both fact and expert witnesses)Attend conferences with expert witnesses and summarize those meetingsReview and summarize various records, including medical records, HR records, and documents produced in discoveryPerform legal/medical researchAttend court hearings and argue motions as necessaryAssist in trial preparation including the drafting of trial documents, motions in limine, and other required tasksPerform all tasks involved in a civil litigation case from inception to trial including discovery, law & motion, expert discovery, and trial preparationPerform other tasks as assignedQualifications:Graduate of an ABA-accredited law schoolCalifornia Bar member in good standingAt least 3 years of attorney experienceStrong writing and communication skillsSelf-motivated and able to work independently with team supportSkilled in managing and prioritizing complex casesEffective team playerRequired experience in civil litigation (plaintiff or defense)Preferred interest in medical malpractice and civil defense litigation; prior experience in these areas is a plusRequired Skills:Litigation
