About The Post:
The Post is made up of four intimate, assisted living homes in south Charlotte, each housing six elderly residents. The four communities that make up The Post are The Post at Providence 1 & 2 and The Post at Mint Hill 1 & 2. The foundation of The Post is to give the best care possible to our sweet residents with superior customer service. The administrator position will oversee and work closely with our residential care coordinator, nursing staff, activity directors, house managers, maintenance team, and dietary.
Job Description:
We are seeking a compassionate and experienced NC Assisted Living Administrator to oversee all four of The Post homes (total of 24 residents). The ideal candidate will have a strong background in assisted living management, excellent leadership skills as well as strong communication skills. They need to have a passion for enhancing the quality of life for our residents and a mindset of thinking like an owner and always being solution oriented.
Key Responsibilities:
Residential Care Coordination: Work closely with the residential care coordinator and nursing staff to ensure the highest standards of care and compliance with state regulations.
Relationship Building: Foster positive relationships with staff, residents, and their families, ensuring open communication and support.
Uphold Standards: Maintain and uphold all the standards of The Post, including exceptional customer service and care.
Budget Management: Adhere to and manage the business budget, ensuring financial responsibility and efficiency.
Compliance Monitoring: Regularly monitor all four homes to ensure compliance with state regulations and standards.
Liaison Role: Act as the primary liaison between residents, families, staff, and the community, addressing any concerns and facilitating smooth communication.
Staff Management: Oversee the hiring, training, and management of staff to maintain a skilled and compassionate team.
Marketing: Develop and implement marketing strategies to promote The Post and attract potential residents and their families.
Qualifications:
Must hold a valid NC Assisted Living Administrator license.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in assisted living or a related field.
Strong leadership and management skills.
Solution Oriented
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to handle emergencies, and remain on-call 24/7.
Proficient in budget management and financial oversight.
Passionate about providing high-quality care and service.
