About The Role

As the Director of Business Strategy, you will play a pivotal role in driving the execution of strategy and long-range planning of our organization. You will collaborate closely with the executive leadership team to identify opportunities, assess market trends, understand competitive dynamics, and develop strategies to drive growth and enhance profitability. You will drive key cross-functional business initiatives, monitor strategic execution, and partner with the CFO, CEO, and President to provide visibility of the overall health of the organization to leadership, board members, and shareholders.

What You Get To Do Every Day

Conduct thorough analysis of market trends, competitive landscape, and internal capabilities to identify strategic opportunities.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align strategic initiatives with business objectives.Provide insights and recommendations to senior leadership based on market research and analysis.Drive strategic initiatives from conception through execution, ensuring alignment with company goals.Monitor and evaluate industry trends and changes to anticipate challenges or opportunities.Manage the preparation and delivery of board presentations, consolidating inputs from Senior Leadership and ensuring timely submission.Maintain strategic partnerships with internal and external stakeholders to help drive the success of goals and initiatives.Take ownership of tracking progress toward the company's long-term strategic goals and key performance indicators (KPIs). Analyze data, prepare insightful reports for senior leadership, and recommend adjustments to strategy as needed.Lead cross-functional projects assigned by the CFO and President & COO, leveraging your strategic acumen and operational expertise to drive successful outcomes.Collaborate with teams to execute initiatives that advance company and board objectives.Facilitate executive-level strategic meetings, including quarterly sessions with VPs and above. Coordinate agenda setting, tracking of action items, and ensuring follow-through on strategic initiatives and goals.Craft clear and compelling communications on behalf of the senior leadership team. Ensure messaging aligns with strategic priorities and reflects our commitment to excellence, innovation, diversity, equity, and inclusion.

What You Bring To The Role

Minimum Requirements:

Minimum of 8 years of experience in a senior-level strategic operations role.Proven track record of success in driving complex projects and initiatives, with a deep understanding of strategic frameworks and methodologies.Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and formulate actionable insights to drive business performance.Exceptional communication and presentation skills, capable of influencing and building consensus among diverse stakeholders.Strategic mindset with a proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.Strong understanding of the Luxury Fashion industry and demonstrated ability to navigate complex market dynamics.Ability to Travel 25%.

Preferred Requirements:

Education in Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.Relevant certifications such as PMP (Project Management Professional), Six Sigma, or Lean Management could be beneficial in this role.Background in consulting such as Bain or McKinsey ideal, but not required.

The expected salary range for this role is $165,000-$215,000. To determine starting pay we carefully consider a variety of factors, including primary work location and an evaluation of a candidate’s skills, experience, market demands, and internal parity. Additionally, salary is just one component of TRR’s total rewards package. Depending on role, employees may also be eligible for a bonus program, incentive pay, and benefits.
