Directs all Foundation events - fundraising, stewardship, cultivation and community events, and builds a comprehensive strategy for engaging potential and current donors to increase donor engagement and contribute to the donor pipeline. Leads relationship building with current sponsors to cultivate and secure event related partnerships and partners with the corporate engagement team to identify, cultivate, solicit and steward new sponsors. Builds relationships with prospective event related partners. Partners with other Foundation areas to build awareness of Children's Wisconsin as a cause through event based marketing and fundraising tactics. - Bachelor's degree required. - Eight years progressively responsible and successful event and fund raising experience. - Minimum of four years successful leadership of a team. - Excellent written and verbal communications skills, creative ability; strategic and innovative thinking; organizational and problem solving skills; interpersonal skills, and management experience. - A high level of organizational ability in order to manage, coordinate and evaluate event staff and activities, develop event budgets as well as efficiently manage the utilization of volunteer staff. - Volunteer management experience. - Ability to sit, walk and stand for extended periods of time, as well as lift and carry objects weighing approximately 25 pounds during event functions which accounts for at least 10% of the time. - Ability to travel to different locations for functions and flexibility to attend functions outside normal work hours.
