Summary
The Data Science Analyst will play a crucial role in driving data-driven decision-making at our wholesale and direct-to-consumer (DTC) business which also includes licensing. This individual will be responsible for collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data to uncover insights that will help optimize our supply chain operations and improve overall business performance.
Duties And ResponsibilitiesData Analysis: Utilize statistical techniques and data mining tools to analyze large datasets within Snowflake and identify trends, patterns, and correlations.Business Intelligence: Support strategic decision-making by providing data-driven insights into customer behavior, market trends, and financial performance using Snowflake and Business Objects.Data Visualization: Create clear and effective visualizations (e.g., charts, graphs) using Business Objects to communicate findings to both technical and non-technical audiences.Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams (e.g., sales, marketing, operations) to understand their data needs and provide relevant analysis.Supply Chain Optimization: Analyze supply chain data using Snowflake to identify areas for improvement, such as inventory management, order fulfillment, and procurement.Customer and Marketing Analytics: Conduct market basket analysis, RFM analysis, customer LTV prediction, customer churn prediction, order fill rate prediction, e-commerce marketing analysis, acquisition and conversion analysis to optimize customer retention, acquisition, and overall business performance.Data Collection and Cleaning: Gather data from various sources, including our ERP system, CRM, and other relevant systems. Clean and prepare data for analysis, ensuring accuracy and consistency within our Snowflake data platform.Model Development and Evaluation: Develop, train, and evaluate statistical and machine learning models using appropriate algorithms. Conduct feature engineering to optimize model performance and ensure model explainability to foster trust in decision-making.
