If you have a minimum of two years' experience, we want you to join our dynamic team as an account manager, procurement.

In this role, you'll leverage your deep knowledge of procurement practices to manage responsibilities with minimal oversight. As a key player in our procurement department, you'll also have the opportunity to contribute to and lead projects that shape our strategic direction.

What YOU will do

Ensure uninterrupted flow of material to support manufacturing and customer OTD

Review purchase requisitions against the master production schedule to validate demand

Carries out Procurement processes, standards, and operational plans, including RFPs, negotiation preparations, and cost analysis

Create POs in accordance with requisitions and contractual requirements

Expedite material as needed, negotiating and working changes within supply base

Negotiate with suppliers as required for reschedules in support of inventory and business objectives

Support the Supply Chain Sales and Inventory Planning (SIOP) process and Supplier Performance evaluation process

Support the Ops Excellence team and internal stakeholders

Understands the basic tools in project management (SOW, WBS, responsibility matrix, change management, resource management, scheduling) to follow up supplier deliverables

Oversee the product launch process, coordinating with various teams to ensure a successful rollout.

Continuously gather feedback from customers and stakeholders to iterate and improve the product. Monitor product performance and key metrics to identify areas for enhancement.

Education & Experience

Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field or in absence of a degree, 6 years of relevant experience

Qualifications you must have

Working knowledge of MRP systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.)

Skills we value

Aerospace and Military Procurement preferred

Consigned material and raw material procurement experience is preferred

Experience in the Manufacturing industry

Experience in developing and executing cycle counting policies, procedures and physical inventory

The salary range for this role is 64,000 USD - 128,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.
