Job Description:

The Human Resources Coordinator supports the Human Resources Managers with local human resources processes and operations. This position coordinates onboarding and off-boarding logistics. The Human Resources Coordinator works under general supervision and relies on instructions and limited experience to plan and accomplish goals.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

Prepare and coordinate new hire onboarding including but not limited to drafting orientation materials, scheduling meetings, greeting new hires upon arrival, sending welcome emails, and verifying I-9 documentation.

Conduct attorney and staff new hire orientation presentations.

Own compliance-related administrative tasks and trainings.

Assist with the office transfer process including notifying the appropriate teams and coordinating with key contacts.

Coordinate departure logistics, including updating our HRIS system in conjunction with our HRIS team, and scheduling exit interviews.

Assist with bi-weekly staff timesheet audits.

Support firmwide performance management processes for staff.

Conduct routine employee file audits and run HR reports as needed.

Job Specifications:

Bachelor’s degree.

At least one (1) year of related work experience.

Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and Word).

Familiarity with Human Resources Information Systems.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to work under tight deadlines and prioritize responsibilities.

Ability to maintain and handle confidential information.

Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
