General SummaryA Director of Marketing Intelligence and Technology is a multifaceted role that combines data-driven marketing strategies with technological innovation. This role emphasizes leveraging technology to gather and analyze marketing data, generate actionable insights, and integrate these insights into marketing strategies to drive the best possible health and well-being outcomes for members while helping ministries to thrive.

Essential Job Functions

Develop, implement, optimize, and oversee the digital marketing strategy across multiple platforms to create a unified digital experience, drive meaningful marketing and brand experience and product offerings to meet customer needs.

Create, manage and execute the marketing technology roadmap and ensure seamless integration with other business systems to streamline workflows, ensure alignment and collaboration on go-to-market strategies, and improve data accuracy.

Stay educated and informed on marketing technology trends to adopt and support marketing data collection and digital experience technologies to enhance data capabilities, marketing effectiveness, innovation, and transformation to focus on increasing marketing performance that escalates impact, values and outcomes for customers and stakeholders.

Provide thought leadership for digital experience technologies to innovate and optimize the brand experience for CPS members and employers.

Lead the marketing research endeavor and data collection process to understand behaviors, preferences, and patterns and competitive landscape to support organization strategy, effective targeted marketing, outcomes, customer trends and needs. Utilize data to understand the customer profile.

Analyze and interpret data research to understand market trends, influence future strategies, and to measure and optimize service and marketing outcomes, to support and influence actionable insights on investment of future pilots, products, organizational initiatives and to quickly adapt to customer changing needs.

Multi-faceted cross-functional organization collaboration with internal stakeholders of information technology for systems, data strategy and data governance, the product team for new products, services and features and other customer engagement leaders in effort create alignment with marketing data, research and technology to drive customer engagement, promote the success of marketing strategies, and deepen our presence and influence in ministries.

Translate data insights, research and performance of marketing initiatives to inform and make recommendations to stakeholders and decisions makers through comprehensive reports and visualization of findings demonstrating thought leadership, and relational awareness of impact on organizational initiatives, metrics and strategies.

Leads, develops and manages a team to deliver exceptional results in service to the values and mission of Concordia Plans.

Practices good stewardship in the use of resources and adherence to budget.

Education and Experience

Bachelor’s degree in marketing, market research, data science, technology, quantitative methods, psychology or related field required.

Eight (8) years’ experience in marketing analytics, marketing technology and/or market research required; 5 years at a managerial level preferred.

Proven experience in utilizing marketing technology to transform marketing strategies.

Demonstrated experience with Salesforce and Marketing Cloud or equivalent programs required.

Experience with market research practices, customer satisfaction processes, statistics, data management and analytics.
