Job Details:In this new position, you will prepare complex individual, business, partnership and estate/trust income tax returns, perform tax research, and provide client withtax planning strategies with minimal supervision. The Tax Manager provides work direction and technical guidance to less experienced staff. The Tax Manager contacts clients to resolve tax issues and acts as a liaison for clients with the IRS to understand client's IRS tax issue and communicates issue to client to create understanding.
Qualifications...
Bachelor's Degree, CPAWorking with Non-profits and multiple industries is big plus7+ years of progressive experience at a public accounting firmStrong external and internal communication required, due to client facing role and importance of strong partnership with internal engagement teamsExtensive experience in preparing and reviewing partnership tax returns and Schedules K-1 and K-3Extensive experience with computing taxable income and partnership allocationsKnowledge of wash sales, straddles, carried interest and incentive allocationsIn-depth knowledge of distribution waterfall
