Job#: 2046135Job Description:UX DesignerLocation: Remote or Hybrid in Vienna, VA or Pensacola, FL12 month ContractUSC Citizen PreferredTo support and/or develop user-centered design solutions for all levels of products and digital initiatives via user interface solutions and interaction models. Develops project execution plans, deployment schedules, and implements User Experience (UX) design projects of moderate to complex scope. Works independently with limited guidance.Responsibilities:Significant experience in design fundamentalsSignificant experience in interaction design, visual design, and industry standardsSignificant experience in user-centered design processes and best practicesWorking knowledge of best practices for web and mobile-based content, tools, and formsAbility to interpret requirements into executable design solutionsStrong cross-group collaboration and persuasion skillsAbility to respond quickly and efficiently in a dynamic environmentAdvanced verbal and written communication skillsSignificant experience performing analysis of business processes and functionsAdvanced skill in managing timelines/deadlines/resources; ensuring successful project implementation; working across teamsCreate prototypes for testing to ensure design meets business and user objectivesInfluence team members and business partners, explaining the impact of designing/developing with the end user in mindCollaborate with project teams to define solutionsOperate within the right Design Thinking methodology based on the product, channel, audience, and the application requirements or workflowProactively draw out user experience or design issues and successfully address those issues to ensure projects stay on track to meet interim project milestonesEmployee Type:ContractJob Type:Digital Experience and Content Strategy
