Job#: 2046137Job Description:Visual Experience DesignLocation: Remote or Hybrid in Vienna, VA12 month ContractUSC Citizen PreferredTo conceive visual design solutions to complex product initiatives through composition, typography and interaction models, keep deliverables engaging and on-brand, and drive cross channel projects. Develops project execution plan, deployment schedule, and implements UX design projects of a moderate to complex scope. Resolves complex design problems. Works independently with limited guidance on moderately complex projects with significant impact.Develop and recommend comprehensive visual design solutionsConceive and recommend visual experience design strategyOptimize the user experience through creating visual on-brand compositions that drive improved experiencesInfluence team members and business partners, explaining the impact of designing/developing with the end user in mindCollaborate with project teams to define the visual identityDefines user experience goals through visual engagementOperate within the right Design Thinking methodology based on the product, channel, audience, and the application requirements or workflowCreate and apply visual design styles and best practices, such as composition, color theory, accessibility and typography, and guides the team in their use through style guide creationCreate prototypes for testing to ensure design meets business and user objectivesAct as subject matter expert for design inspirationRecommend user experience improvement opportunitiesEnsures design solutions remain engaging to the customerAct as stakeholder in user acceptance testing to verify the final execution of a product in the development stageManage multiple projects under tight deadlines across a broad variety of product categories and audiencesProactively draw out user experience or design issues and successfully address those issues to ensure projects stay on track to meet interim project milestonesMust have requirements:Experience with agile, and user centered design a mustHybrid work arrangement so candidates who can make the drive to campus 4 days a month will be expected. There is no set day or time, they make their own scheduleResumes should have portfolio or work samples includedA MINIMUM of 3 real world examples of DIRECT work - Wireframes, Prototypes, Flows, User stories.
