Position Summary
SUNY Geneseo is seeking an energetic, part-time Compliance Officer in the Division of Finance and Administration. Under the guidance of the VP for Finance & Administration, the Compliance Officer will serve as the campus internal control and compliance officer, leading initiatives in support of risk management and compliance matters. The successful candidate will be highly collaborative and be responsible for coordinating internal and external audits and reviews. The candidate will work with faculty/staff/students on campus and with SUNY System regulatory contacts and external parties as needed.Flexible hybrid work arrangements may be an option subject to NYS, SUNY, and Geneseo rules, regulations, and policies.Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degreeMinimum of 2 years of professional related experienceDemonstrated strong interpersonal and communication skillsDemonstrated commitment to fostering a diverse and inclusive working/teaching environment.Preferred Qualifications
Familiarity with SUNY and New York State finance and regulatory systems.MBA or Master's degree and/or Certified Public Accountant (CPA) preferred.Supervision Received
