We are looking for a Tax Supervisor/Accounting Lead for a public accounting firm here in the Triad.This is a great opportunity with a local accounting firm that provides a welcoming and flexible work environment.Job Duties and ResponsibilitiesDeliver a full range of tax services in compliance with laws and regulationsBuild relationships and interact with clients to provide excellent planning, consulting and expertiseProvide innovative tax planning and review complex income tax returnsBuild relationships and interact with clients to provide excellent planning, consulting and expertiseProvide innovative tax planning and reviewing complex income tax returnsResponsibilitiesDeliver a full range of tax services in compliance with laws and regulations within timeframeBuild relationships and interact with clients to provide excellent planning, consulting and expertiseProvide innovative tax planning and review complex income tax returnsIdentify and mitigate tax risksCoordinate accounting staff and assess their performanceManage tax provision and tax compliance processImprove processes by developing or implementing best practicesManage and coordinate tax auditsMaintain tax balances on general ledgerSupervise tax staffPrepare all tax papers in regular basis and handle all information data requestsPPC familiarityExtensions preparationImplement procedure for tax departmentRequirements and skillsProven work experience as a Tax ManagerExcellent knowledge of tax accounting, tax compliance and all types of tax returnsReview Business Tax ReturnsKnowledge of tax software and MS OfficePrepare OrganizersWork with UltraTax support for problem solvingGood at meeting deadlines and solving problemsTax Research for IRS issuesExceptional client service along with the ability to develop excellent client relationshipsStrong leadership and personnel management skillsAnalytical skills with detail orientationEducational and job requirements:BA in Accounting or MA in TaxationCPA5 years experience in a CPA firm
