The Marketplace Business Development Manager will play a key role in expanding the Netsmart Marketplace by identifying and nurturing relationships with potential third-party partners. This individual will be responsible for managing leads submitted through the Marketplace submission process and proactively sourcing new potential partners whose products align with Netsmart's client needs. By collaborating with internal Netsmart product and engineering teams, the Business Development Manager will ensure that the identified partners complement and enhance Netsmart's overall solution offerings.Key Responsibilities:Lead Management and Partner Identification:Manage leads and submissions from the Netsmart Marketplace portal, reviewing and evaluating third-party applications.

Proactively source and identify potential Marketplace partners that align with the needs of Netsmart's client base in behavioral health, human services, post-acute care, and specialty care communities.

Develop and maintain a pipeline of high-quality third-party technology providers whose solutions enhance the Netsmart platform.

Initial Vetting and Scrubbing of Potential Partners:Conduct an initial review of potential partners, assessing company culture, product functionality, alignment with client needs, and overall market fit.

Perform competitive and market analysis to determine whether the partner's solution brings added value to Netsmart's product offerings.

Internal Collaboration and Partner Vetting:Coordinate with internal Netsmart product and engineering teams to vet identified partners and ensure technical compatibility with the Netsmart platform.

Relationship Building and Partner Onboarding:Develop and nurture strong relationships with potential partners to understand their business objectives and how they complement Netsmart's mission.

Work with Netsmart Partner Product managers onboarding of new partners, and coordinating with relevant internal stakeholders to integrate approved third-party solutions into the Netsmart Marketplace.

Act as a liaison between the partner and internal teams to facilitate a smooth partnership process.

Marketplace Growth and Strategy:Collaborate with marketing, sales, and product teams to support the promotion and go-to-market strategies for newly onboarded partners.

Drive the growth of the Netsmart Marketplace by continually seeking out new opportunities for innovation and partnership that align with evolving client needs.

Monitor industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitor landscapes to inform strategic decisions on potential partnerships.

Continuously creating value for marketplace participants by building the industry's most robust partner network.

Client-Centric Approach:Ensure that potential partners address specific needs within the Netsmart client ecosystem, such as improving clinical workflows, enhancing patient outcomes, reducing costs, or addressing regulatory requirements.

Provide feedback from clients and partners to internal teams to ensure the Marketplace continues to evolve and meet the demands of the healthcare landscape.

Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in business, Healthcare Administration, or related field (MBA or relevant advanced degree preferred).

5+ years of business development or partnership management experience, preferably in healthcare technology, digital health, or SaaS.

Strong understanding of the healthcare technology landscape, including EHR systems, digital health tools, and third-party integrations.

Proven track record of identifying and developing partnerships that align with strategic business objectives.

Experience in product management or working with cross-functional teams to evaluate and integrate partner technologies.

Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills with a client-focused approach.

Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple initiatives and priorities simultaneously.

Familiarity with regulatory and compliance considerations in healthcare technology partnerships (e.g., HIPAA, HITECH).

Preferred Qualifications:Experience with behavioral health, human services, or post-acute care organizations.

Knowledge of Netsmart's EHR solutions or similar healthcare platforms.

Strong network within the digital health and healthcare IT community.
