What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):- Develop and maintain high-quality software solutions for scientists and researchers- Design and implement scalable foundational services for data processing and user management- Work on ML infrastructure and Generative AI applications to enhance scientific use cases- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to transform product vision into tangible results- Engage in continuous learning and contribute to team success through effective communication
What is Required (Qualifications):- Strong proficiency (7+ years) in Node.js, TypeScript, and Python- Over 7 years of experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS)- Extensive experience with databases, including relational and NoSQL- Experience with big data distributed systems such as Databricks and Snowflake- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):- Proven track record with large-scale data distributed systems- Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills- Ability to articulate technical vision while being open to feedback- Experience working in Agile software development environments- Familiarity with lakehouse technologies such as AWS EMR and Glue
