The following position is to join our RTX Corporate, Enterprise Services team:

What You Will Do

Negotiation:

Build a strategy, lead and manage negotiations for Software (SaaS, Perpetual, and subscription) contracts to ensure favorable terms and conditions to the achievement of technical, financial and performance objectives for RTX.

Contract Review & Drafting:

Review, draft, and revise a variety of contracts including software licenses, End-user license agreements and Master Agreements.

Risk Management:

Identify and mitigate potential risks in contracts, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements. Managing Software audits.

Collaboration:

Work closely with internal stakeholders including legal, finance, cyber to align contract terms with company objectives.

Vendor Management:

Manage relationship with suppliers ensuring adherence to agreed terms and resolving contract related issues.

Documentation:

Maintain organized and accurate records of all contract negotiations, drafts and final agreements.

Market Analysis:

Stay informed of industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices in software contracting.

Continuous Improvement:

Recommend and implement process improvements in deal tracking (savings, risk, metrics) and contract management to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

Manage digital application suppliers; establish supplier engagement plans and enforce overall governance within portfolio.

Effectively manage an integrated master schedule of engagements, renewals, RFQs, etc. in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications You Must Have

Bachelor’s degree, 10 years experience, or an Advanced Degree 7 years experience.

Minimum 8 years of Sourcing and Procurement of Digital IT software, maintenance and support, and contracts.

Excellent negotiation, communication and interpersonal skills.

Detail oriented with strong analytical and problem solving abilities.

Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

In-depth understanding of various types of software licensing models.

Strong background in negotiating software contracts to drive year on year cost savings to help RTX meet its bottom line.

Ability to proactively identify and resolve problems efficiently and effectively.

Understand and perform contract redlines.

Business acumen to connect technical requirements and concerns to contract performance.

A deep understanding of the end-to-end procurement process.

Demonstrated ability to understand financial information, budgets and program performance and develop strategies and business cases to improve performance in these areas.

Strong working skillset with Microsoft Suite of Product including Excel, Word and Teams.

U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access the financial management system due to government contractual requirements.

Excellent communication and presentation skills and demonstrated business results working internally with internal functional service owners in addition to external suppliers.

Qualifications We Prefer

Strong project management skills and ability to convert requirements into executable strategies, and ability to develop and manage an integrated master schedule.

Ability to effectively work with and communicate with all levels of management and individual contributors on the program team.

Ability to develop effective presentations and documents used for leadership reviews.

Experience in negotiating statements of work for contingent labor contracts.

The salary range for this role is 118,000 USD - 246,000 USD.
