We are committed to creating a company where all employees are respected, valued, and supported in the pursuit of their goals.Position Overview:As Director and Senior Counsel for Cybersecurity, you will serve as a subject matter expert on Cybersecurity Law within the RTX Corporate Legal, Contracts, and Compliance (LCC) organization. Your responsibilities will include advising and counseling RTX and its businesses on all aspects of Cybersecurity Law and providing day-to-day legal support to the Enterprise Cybersecurity Services (ECS) organization.What You Will Do:Advise and counsel RTX and its businesses on all aspects of cybersecurity law, focusing on incident response, compliance, and transactions and contracts.Provide day-to-day legal support to the RTX ECS organization, coordinating with the appropriate RTX LCC functions.Monitor and help shape cybersecurity laws, regulations, and government-wide policies, and develop relationships with industry and government partners.Assist with the development, implementation, and maintenance of cybersecurity policies, guidance, and documentation.Develop and deliver training on cybersecurity law, including continuing legal education for lawyers and contract professionals.Provide legal advice on cybersecurity incident response and ensure timely satisfaction of legal reporting obligations.Provide legal advice on cybersecurity insurance matters and related policies.Provide legal advice on cybersecurity aspects of mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures.Manage outside counsel and vendors engaged on cybersecurity legal matters.Travel up to 10%, or as needed.Qualifications You Must Have:Juris Doctor.Admitted to practice law in the U.S. and holds an active law license.Minimum of 10 years of relevant law firm and/or in-house experience.Knowledge of U.S. and Global Cybersecurity and Data Protection laws.Experience advising clients on Cybersecurity and/or data protection matters.U.S. Person (U.S. Citizen, Permanent Resident, Refugee, or Asylee).Qualifications We Prefer:Minimum of 10 years of law firm and/or in-house experience in Cybersecurity Law.Experience in both corporate and business legal functions.Experience advising on cybersecurity incident response and compliance.Expertise in U.S. government acquisition regulations and European data protection regulations.Background in cybersecurity, information technology, and/or data protection.Strong investigative, analytical, written, and oral communication skills.Ability to work in a fast-paced, changing environment.Effective team builder and team player.What We Offer:We offer a robust total rewards package including compensation, healthcare, wellness, retirement, and work/life benefits.
