Insurance Litigation Attorney

A law firm in Dallas, TX, is seeking an experienced Insurance Litigation Attorney with 3-5 years of civil defense work experience, preferably in property and casualty insurance matters. The ideal candidate will be a member of the Texas Bar with a strong background in insurance law and litigation.Duties:Represent clients in insurance litigation matters, including but not limited to property and casualty insurance disputes.Conduct legal research and analysis to develop case strategies.Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and briefs.Attend hearings, depositions, and other legal proceedings.Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and the courts.Provide legal advice and guidance to clients on insurance-related matters.Requirements:Admission to the Texas Bar is required.3-5 years of experience practicing law, with a focus on civil defense work.Strong knowledge of insurance law and litigation procedures.Excellent research, writing, and oral advocacy skills.Ability to work independently and manage a caseload effectively.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.Education:Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.Certifications:Admission to the State Bar of Texas.Skills:Litigation skills, including drafting pleadings and motions.Legal research and analysis.Case management and organization.Client communication and relationship management.Negotiation and settlement skills.Proficiency in legal software and research tools.Knowledge of relevant federal and state laws and regulations pertaining to insurance litigation.
