We have a culture that values diversity, growth, respect, and integrity.The Legal Administrative Assistant will handle a broad range of legal and administrative tasks, including managing inquiries and complaints, commercial real estate contracts, subrogation, regulatory guidance, and maintaining legal files. This position does not involve direct supervision by an attorney but requires expertise in legal documentation and compliance.A successful candidate has strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and effective communication. Dependability and discretion are crucial for handling sensitive information, while adaptability and problem-solving abilities help navigate dynamic work environments. Professionalism and interpersonal skills ensure smooth interactions with internal teams and external contacts, and technical proficiency supports efficient management of legal and administrative tasks.This role is an in-office role in Dallas, TX.Responsibilities:Legal Correspondence & Case Management:

Manage inquiries from the Texas Department of Insurance (TDI) and Better Business Bureau (BBB), handle subrogation demands, respond to Plaintiff attorneys, and serve as the contact for outside counsel in lawsuits. Maintain detailed legal files and diary notes.Contracts & Agreements:

Review and redline carrier producer agreements and collaborate with the Business Development Director to finalize contracts and agreements. Review commercial real estate contracts with the Vice President of Real Estate.Regulatory Guidance:

Analyze state regulations, provide opinions on compliance matters, and ensure agency forms meet legal standards by drafting necessary corrections.Additional Responsibilities:

Oversee lease agreements and vendor contracts, assist with legal research for various departments, and support M&A activities with legal documentation and insights.Qualifications

Job QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent; an associate’s or bachelor’s degree in legal studies, business administration, or related field preferred.Three years of experience with commercial real estate contracts.Minimum of 2 years of experience as a legal secretary or in a similar administrative role, preferably within an insurance or legal environment.Experience as a Paralegal is highly preferred.Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and legal management software.Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.Knowledge of legal terminology, regulatory compliance, and insurance industry practices is advantageous.
