Description

Promptcare is seeking an experienced and motivated Account Manager to join our team. The AM is responsible for maximizing sales for the hemophilia business unit at The PromptCare Companies. They must maintain a high level of knowledge on the disease state, work closely with Hemophilia Treatment Centers (HTC), Institutions, HCPs, and Patient Advocacy Groups and Chapters (local, state, regional). The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales and account management, as well as a deep understanding of the Hemophilia market. Requirements

College Degree preferredValid Driver's LicensePrevious sales experience. 4 years of medical, pharmaceutical, specialty pharmacy or healthcare sales experience preferredProven track record of successExcellent problem solving and negotiating skillExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamMust be willing to travel 50-80% of the time, including overnights and weekendsJob Responsibilities , i ncluded but not limited to:

Achieve area sales objectives, market penetration, market share, and revenue/margin targets on a quarterly & annual basisDevelop and maintain excellent working relationships with all key stakeholders including HTC's, Institutions, Hematologists, state/local/regional Patient Advocacy Groups, and any potential treater/staff for all Bleeding DisordersObtain new business by planning and organizing daily work schedule to call on existing or potential referral sources or customersCreate and implement an effective business plan to guide strategy, tactics, and track progressAct in compliance within a highly regulated industry and consistent with training, policies, guidelines, and their own best judgment while adhering to all company policies assignedAttend identified forums & conferences while positively representing The PromptCare CompaniesCollaborate with other Account Managers, Sales Leaders, Marketing, Managed Care and TradeRelations teams in the development of programs supporting the bleeding disorder strategy and objectives, both short and long termMaintain and enhance existing business relationships while identifying and developing new business opportunitiesContinuously strive to improve processes, service quality to internal and external stakeholdersRecommend changes in products, service, and policy by evaluating results and competitive developmentsPrepares bi-weekly report by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing territory activityPerform other duties as assignedPhysical Demands

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and listen. Requires the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets and bend or stand as necessary. This position requires the ability to occasionally lift office products and supplies of 20 pounds but no more than 50 pounds.
