This position is bonus-eligible.CNO Financial Group's Marketing Team is hiring a Media Buyer who will be responsible for negotiating and executing media plans across upper funnel tactics. The Media Buyer will be responsible for performance media, buying multiple mediums (TV, OTT, Audio, OOH, etc.) This individual will optimize and grow campaigns, analyze competitive reporting, negotiate buys (either directly or through partner agencies), and assist with business intelligence to help guide our buys.This is your opportunity to be a part of a growing Paid Media team. If you have a passion for media, ideas to share, and aren't afraid to roll up your sleeves, apply today!As a Media Buyer, your responsibilities will include:Planning, negotiating, buying, and maintaining performance media schedules in conjunction with Sr. Campaign StrategistMonitoring and managing purchased media to ensure commercials appear as plannedNegotiating with vendors to acquire cost-effective and budget-conscious advertising opportunities across paid media channels (Audio, Inserts, OOH, TV, OTT, etc.)Optimizing media spend making real-time adjustments as needed to meet business line goals and objectivesOptimizing media performance based on KPIs. Shapes buy to ensure spend is allocated to a diverse group of quality outlets/publishers.Engaging with media agency(s) and managing day-to-day deliverablesMonitoring, managing, and traffic flighting of commercialsKeeping up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in media buying to make solid media recommendationsProviding regular reports to management on media buying activities and campaign performanceThe Media Buyer position is well-suited for you if you:Have led the execution of a variety of media programs in previous work experienceHave previous experience with media planning and buying tools, such as CoreDirect Media Management System and Vivvix (formerly Kantar)Are experienced with cross-channel buying, including but not limited to: TV, OTT, Audio, OOH, etc.Are able to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneouslyExhibit strong relationship building & negotiation skills with media partners, vendors, and measurement partners.Demonstrate excellent organizational skillsAre proficient at problem-solving and brainstorming for thoughtful solutionsWhat you'll need:Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Media, Communications, or a related fieldAt least 5 years of experience in a strategic and quantitative paid media buying rolePrior DRTV buying experienceWhat will set you apart:National, regional, or local media planning/buying experience preferred, with an emphasis on regional and localPrevious work leading the execution of a variety of media programsExperience in multiple channels, including audio, TV & OTT, with an emphasis on TVPrior insurance industry experience is a plusThe Company offers the following benefits for this position, subject to applicable eligibility requirements:Medical insuranceDental insuranceVision insurance401(k) retirement plan with company matchShort-term & long-term disability insurancePaid time off and corporate holidays,Paid parental leaveCompany-paid life insuranceClick on this link for additional information.CNO embraces flexibility and encourages you to work where you're most productive.
