EXOS is continuing to grow! Our Infrastructure Support Services practice is looking for a full-time Infrastructure Manager to join our team.

This position is fully onsite and is not eligible for C2C or providing sponsorship. An onsite interview is required.

Position Summary

The Infrastructure Manager will oversee a team of Tier 3 Technicians (T3s) and Network Engineers, managing day-to-day operations and infrastructure projects. The Infrastructure Manager will also be responsible for guiding complex infrastructure projects from planning through implementation, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring alignment with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and manage a team of T3 Project Technicians and Network Engineers, ensuring they are aligned with business and operational goals.

• Infrastructure Strategy: Develop and implement infrastructure strategies that support organizational objectives, focusing on scalability, reliability, and security.

• Project Management: Manage T3 and infrastructure-related projects from concept to completion, including budgeting, resource allocation, and risk management. Ensure projects are completed on time and within scope.

• Network Management: Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of LAN, WAN, and wireless networks. Troubleshoot and resolve complex network issues.

• Systems Management: Manage data centers, cloud infrastructure, servers, and storage systems, ensuring optimal performance and uptime.

• Collaboration: Work with IT leadership, vendors, and other departments to ensure infrastructure solutions meet business needs.

• Documentation and Compliance: Maintain detailed documentation of infrastructure processes, networks, and systems. Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.

• Monitoring & Performance: Oversee performance monitoring of all infrastructure systems, proactively addressing potential issues before they affect operations.

• Innovation: Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and trends in network infrastructure and IT operations, making recommendations for improvements.

Qualifications

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. Equivalent work experience may be considered.

Experience:

• Minimum of 5+ years of experience in IT infrastructure management, with a focus on networks and system administration.

• At least 2+ years of experience leading or managing teams of engineers or technicians.

• Proven experience managing complex infrastructure projects, including budgeting and risk management.

Technical Skills:

• Strong understanding of networking protocols (TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, etc.) and network security best practices.

• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, etc.), virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V), and storage solutions.

• Proficient in network monitoring tools and troubleshooting complex network and systems issues.

• Experience in IT service management (ITSM) and incident management (e.g., ITIL framework).

Certifications: Relevant certifications (e.g., CCNP, CCIE, CISSP, PMP) are a plus.
