JOB DESCRIPTIONSenior Managers on the People Insights and Analytics team not only guide the strategic path for managing DaVita’s most valuable asset (Teammates) but also help shape the future of the growing field of HR Analytics. They have the opportunity to collaborate with top leaders throughout the Village and manage a team of ambitious, analytical, and creative leaders to identify, frame, and solve critical business questions. Senior Managers will bring a rigorous approach to all things people-related and provide inspirational leadership to their team.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESThe following duties and responsibilities generally reflect the expectations of this position but are not intended to be all-inclusive.AnalyticsStrong foundation in quantitative concepts (e.g., financial, statistical, predictive models, data management, and reporting)Ability to simplify complex or ambiguous business and operational problems through hypotheses-based analytical frameworksIntellectual curiosity to challenge the status quo, ask provocative questions, and develop recommendationsKnack for quickly internalizing how business processes work and the role that people play withinAccountabilityAbility to prioritize many workstreams, identifying and acting on the most important business problems to solveDrive actionable recommendations from synthesis of insights that push partners to differential results or new strategiesAppropriately manage potential roadblocks proactively identifying, communicating, and solving issuesOwnership of people data reporting, integrity, and processing across platforms (e.g., WorkDay, Visier, Anaplan, etc.)CommunicationPrioritize communications to focus on most critical information with a bias towards action (verbal and written)Convey complex business problems through cohesive, impactful stories / presentations while maintaining analytical rigorOwn and effectively manage internal and external communication including insights and progress towards resultsLeadershipCreate a sustainable, attractive experience for high-performing business analytics talentDevelop and coach analysts’ professional development including technical, analytical, and communication skillsFoster a team environment of trust and learning with multi-directional feedbackPartner with Operations and People Services to drive results and maintain credibilityDevelopmentAggressively pursue professional development opportunities seeking input and prioritizing appropriatelyAbility to quickly take action on tactical feedback and develop over timeMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONSBachelor’s Degree in quantitative field (e.g., economics, mathematics, engineering, etc.)Expert-level computer skills and proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint requiredDemonstrated track record of presenting quantitative analysis to executive leadership3-5 years professional experience in analytics / quantitative field (e.g., finance, strategy, quant marketing)Strong track record of leadership performance, particularly coaching teams through ambiguous challengesPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONSMBA or Graduate Level degreeExpertise in data management (e.g., SQL, WorkDay, etc.) and statistical / machine learning programming (R, Python, etc.)Management consulting experienceWhat We’ll Provide:Comprehensive benefits:
