Bluegreen Vacations is looking for their next leader to join us in taking our Shenandoah Crossing Resort in beautiful Gordonsville, VA, to higher levels. The Director of Sales provides on-going support to the Area VP of Sales and is responsible for planning, preparing, and coordinating sales activities for our In-House sales team.This role is perfect for an established leader who is looking for that next step in their industry career. We believe in building a team for success, therefore you MUST have manager or above timeshare experience of no less than 2 years prior to submitting your resume for review.Job Type:
Full-timeThe Director of Sales is responsible for planning, preparing, and coordinating sales activities designed to meet revenue objectives. Implements and reinforces the Company’s basic sales training program to be consistent with Company objectives. Responsible for ensuring that sales activities and labor rules are conducted in compliance with State, Corporate, and National Sales guidelines and regulations.Responsibilities:
Sets clear, well-defined, and reasonable goals for each associate and oversees staff in the development of sales strategies to meet established goals.Hire, recruit, train, and develop staff. Conduct performance appraisals, counseling, and coaching sessions. Handle disciplinary action and/or terminations.Assists sales representatives in closing sales, as well as in the preparation and explanation of necessary documentation for completing sales transactions.Responsible for site meeting or exceeding budgeted expectations by maximizing sales opportunities while controlling commissions and administrative costs.Develops and manages sales operating budget.Direct sales forecasting activities and sets performance goals accordingly.Attain sales objectives and bottom-line profit.Performs the job assigned complying with Company policies and procedures, business code of ethics, FLSA regulations, and all applicable laws, as well as ensuring confidentiality, reliability, quality, and productivity. The ability to motivate and mentor staff. Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills, strong ability to think strategically and analyze information timely and accurately, strong interpersonal communication skills to deal effectively with all levels of the organization.Benefits:
