Assistant / Associate Professor Positions in FinanceThe Finance and Economics Department of the Rutgers Business School at Newark and New Brunswick, Rutgers University, is seeking two full-time faculty members at the rank of Assistant Professor or Associate Professor (without tenure), subject to funding availability. Candidates must already have a Ph.D. in finance or economics, should have a track record of publications in top-tier finance and economics journals, and have demonstrated effective teaching at the university level. The successful candidate is one with scholarly activities in either empirical asset pricing or corporate finance with strong econometric skills. The successful candidate is expected to teach in both the undergraduate and graduate programs of the Department, especially courses such as Corporate Finance, Investment Analysis, Asset Pricing, Derivatives, Analysis of Fixed Income and Econometrics.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Physical Demands and Work Environment:
The Finance and Economics Department has 45 full-time faculty members. The Rutgers Business School offers BS, MBA, Master of Quantitative Finance, Master in Financial Analysis, Masters of Science in Business of Fashion, and Ph.D. programs that include finance and applied economics concentrations. Faculty members are expected to teach on both Newark and New Brunswick campuses, if needed. The location of office will be negotiated with RBS Dean and Department Chair.
