Gulf Coast Regional Blood Center is seeking a Manager of Business Development to lead all aspects of new client onboarding, prospecting, and account management. For this exciting new role, we are seeking an energetic self-starter, who is process driven with regard to CRM management, onboarding process flows, and contract execution, while also possessing a penchant for sales and marketing in our efforts to appeal to new customers across a variety of commercial product lines, including biotech/research, laboratory testing, and cellular therapy products and services. College degree preferred, especially in a health or life science. Inside and/or Outside Sales experience a plus. Team environment, great benefits and free parking located just behind NRG Stadium.

Research new business opportunities both locally and nationally in the clinical and biotechnology industries. Assess client needs, present suitable products, and make decisions related to identifying top prospects and strategizing sales and marketing approach. Initiate and follow up with prospects as needed.Manage the Opportunity Assessment Group process and present viable new business opportunities for consideration.Assess competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, and new technologies.Generate leads for new business with new and existing clients.Strategize with the Marketing Department to develop and maintain online and B2B materials for all non-transfusion related products and services for both our cellular therapy and scientific research materials.Responsible for CRM management and maintenance, including detailed client and prospect notes; accurate client contact data; contract fee and termination criteria monitoring and ensuring near-term accounts are resolved appropriately.Responsible for all tasks related to contract execution and onboarding for new clients.Stay up to date with products and services in the field of blood-related research and development.Recommend changes in products and services by evaluating results, demand, and competitive developments.Provide ongoing reporting to the Director of Business Development.Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies.All other duties as assigned.We need someone who has:

Bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year college/university or three to five years related experience. Sales experience a plus, as is a background in biology or pharmaceuticalsValid Texas Driver's License and acceptable driving record. Must have reliable vehicle to transport self to various donor and group sites (mileage reimbursed).
