Business Development Representative

RapidRatings is looking for a Business Development Representative to join our team. You will be responsible for identifying potential customers, generating new business opportunities, and managing leads through the sales pipeline. The BDR team is heavily supported by Marketing, who will provide collateral and messaging templates for optimal prospecting efforts.

RapidRatings' BDRs conduct high-level conversations with executives about their risk management challenges. Daily, a BDR can expect to conduct numerous phone calls, emails and LinkedIn messages, as well as targeted research and strategy, to uncover a prospect's challenges and connect them with our product experts (Account Executives).

Our ideal candidate is self-motivated, resourceful, can work both independently and on a team, and emanates a high social intelligence and natural inclination for selling. Responsibilities

Identify potential customers and generate new business opportunitiesContact and qualify potential customers through all means of outreach (Calls, Emails, InMailsConsistent in follow up to secure first and future meetingsCollaborate with the Sales (Account Executives), Marketing and our Subject Matter Expert Teams to develop strategies for reaching sales targetsBuild and maintain relationships with potential clientsUse Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software to manage leads and activitiesStay up to date on market trends, competition and industry developmentsRequirements

1+ years of experience of cold prospecting as a BDR/SDRStrong verbal and written communication skills, preferably cold calling - ability to think on the flyStrong work ethic - willing to learn about RapidRatings' solutions and how they solve our customers challengesEfficient time management and organizational skillsStrong problem solving and negotiation skillsKnowledge of sales techniques and strategiesExperience using database and CRM tools such as Salesforce, Outreach and LinkedInA desire to learn and grow in the sales fieldBachelor's degree in related field

*Salary - $55,000-$65,000 base + commission

This is a full-time hybrid WFH/in-office role that pays a generous salary plus monthly, quarterly, and annual bonuses based on achievement of performance goals. RapidRatings offers a competitive compensation package, including health and dental insurance, generous paid time off and a 401k.*
