Holiday Inn Express & Suites Nashville West End is under construction in the heart of Nashville, just across from Vanderbilt University. This new hotel will feature 184 rooms with an outdoor pool, onsite valet parking, a spacious fitness center, complimentary breakfast, and a bar. Our planned opening date is March 2025. The Director of Sales will be supported by our whole team at Triumph Hospitality–an experienced management team with several hotels in the Metro Nashville area. We are confident that we have all the sales and operations experience needed to help you shine in this position. About You

We’re looking for a skilled sales professional with a passion for Nashville’s unique culture as well as the hospitality industry. The Director of Sales will play an integral part in building the new hotel’s reputation and positioning it for success for years to come! The Day To Day:

Develop awareness and reputation of the hotel and the brand in the local community.

Attend networking events, conferences, and trade shows.

Achieve budgeted revenues and personal sales goals to maximize profitability.

Participate in the preparation of the annual revenue budget and marketing plan.

Create and implement sales plans that drive measurable incremental occupancy and increase average rates.

Produce weekly reports and sales forecasts to analyze current/potential market and sales trends.

Actively sell room nights through outside sales calls.

Actively sell to in-house guests (review arrival reports, greeting groups, talking with guests at breakfast to surface additional leads, etc.).

Know the competition well and understand the strengths and weaknesses of each hotel.

Provide guests with helpful information (example: loyalty program, area attractions, restaurants, facility information) to enhance guest experience.

Develop and maintain relationships with key clients and outside contacts in order to produce group and corporate travel business.

Coordinate all meetings and groups at the hotel and communicate with other hotel-level departments to facilitate services agreed upon by the sales office and prospective clients.

Identify operational problems that reduce the effectiveness of sales activities and overall hotel sales performance and work with appropriate departments on solutions.

Qualifications and Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business, Marketing or related field preferred.

Minimum two years of experience in a hotel sales setting or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.

Nashville-specific market experience preferred.

Must speak fluent English.

Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.

Experience with Opera PMS system.
