Sanmina Corporation has facilities strategically located in key regions throughout the world.Job Purpose:Performs functions associated with all manufacturing operations, including working with engineers in set-up and calibration tasks, as well as performing rework and quality testing related to the production of parts, components, subassemblies and final assemblies. Uses sophisticated programs to collect and evaluate operating data to conduct on-line adjustments to products, instruments or equipment. Determines and may assist in developing methods and procedures to control or modify the manufacturing process. Works with engineers in conducting experiments.Nature of Duties/Responsibilities:Responsible for developing and maintaining programs for SMT Placement equipment, operation and maintenance of automated equipment used to assemble electronic PC boards. Manage the implementation of ECO's through comparison of programs. Works with production, engineering and machine operators to maintain equipment and to ensure efficient operation of work centers to meet production schedules. Performs customer specified modifications to programs, troubleshoots programs/equipment problems and fault corrections. This position requires active involvement with the production processes and personnel.Education and Experience:Minimum of 2 years experience supporting SMT Programming team2 year technical degreeFlexa Software knowledgeFactory Logix software knowledgeCandidate must possess good written and verbal communication skills, and be able to adapt quickly to changes, prioritize and execute multiple tasks in the fast-paced environmentUnderstanding of the Production requestAbility to work under deadlines (Programs, ECO)Detail-oriented, fast learnerExperience with various SMT programming softwareSanmina is an Equal Opportunity Employer - M/F/Veteran/Disability/Sexual Orientation/Gender Identity
