If you think you'd be a great addition to our team, please apply!Benefits:Medical, dental, and vision offered after qualification periodCompetitive performance bonuses - potential for up to $500 monthlyEmployee discounts at Hilton Hotels worldwide401k with match offered after qualification periodWashington State Paid Sick LeaveVacation time accrued based on hours workedFree parking10 paid holidays each yearJob Description:The Director of Food and Beverage is responsible for overseeing the entire food and beverage operation.Encompass banquets, culinary and restaurant outlets.Establish and maintain quality product and service levels while maximizing profits; forecasting and budgeting; selecting, training and developing Team Members.Attend team huddle meetings, conduct departmental meetings, performance appraisals, and implement and maintain incentive programs.Maintain inventory control, menu development, community PR for the hotel, monitor budget and maintain high levels of Team Member satisfaction.Maintain Food Costs and Manage Labor.Maintain Menu Development.Supervise subordinates consistent with Holiday Inn standards.Coach and Counsel employees as needed via corrective interview process.Interview and hire front and back of the house F&B staff.Take ownership, and be a proactive leader who is constantly looking for new and more effective ways of improving products, guest service and profitability.Work collaboratively with other department heads.Required Education / Certifications / Work/Industry Experience:Bachelor's degree in business or related experience and/or training equivalent.Minimum 1 year food and beverage experience required.Hospitality or related industry experience preferred.3 years experience preferred.
