A Food and Beverage Manager at a Hilton hotel is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the food and beverage operations, ensuring exceptional service, and managing financial performance.
Food and Beverage ManagerKey Responsibilities:
Operational Management : Oversee daily operations of all food and beverage outlets, including restaurants, bars, room service, and banquets. Ensure smooth coordination between kitchen and service staff.
Guest Satisfaction : Maintain high standards of customer service, addressing guest feedback and ensuring a consistent, high-quality dining experience.
Staff Leadership : Recruit, train, and supervise food and beverage staff, including chefs, servers, and bartenders. Conduct performance evaluations and ensure ongoing staff development.
Financial Oversight : Develop and manage budgets, control costs, and monitor food and beverage revenues. Ensure profitability through effective cost management and pricing strategies.
Menu Development : Collaborate with chefs and culinary teams to design and update menus, incorporating seasonal ingredients, guest preferences, and market trends.
Inventory and Supply Chain Management : Monitor inventory levels, manage vendor relationships, and ensure the timely procurement of food, beverages, and supplies.
Compliance and Safety : Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including hygiene standards and alcohol service laws. Oversee inspections and audits to maintain safety protocols.
Event Planning : Coordinate food and beverage services for special events, meetings, and banquets, ensuring seamless execution and guest satisfaction.
Skills Required:
Strong leadership and team management skills
Excellent customer service and communication abilities
Knowledge of food safety, hygiene, and beverage regulations
Financial acumen with experience in budgeting and cost control
Ability to handle high-pressure environments and multitask effectively
This role combines leadership, operational management, and strategic planning to enhance the overall guest dining experience while ensuring profitability. F&B reports to AGM and GM for support.
Qualifications:
Knowledge of all health and safety regulations and procedures
Proven leadership and business acumen skills
Demonstrated proficiency in supervising and motivating subordinates
Basic competence in subordinates duties and tasks
Good judgement with the ability to make timely and sound decisions
Must be able to speak, read, write, and understand the primary language(s) used in the workplace.
