Job Description:

The DoubleTree by Hilton in Davenport, IA, is seeking a passionate and results-driven Food & Beverage Manager to oversee all aspects of our hotel's dining operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring exceptional guest experiences in our restaurants, bars, banquets, and room service while driving profitability and maintaining the highest standards of quality and service.

Key Responsibilities:

Operational Oversight:

Manage the daily operations of all food and beverage outlets, including the restaurant, bar, room service, and banquets, ensuring consistent delivery of excellent guest service.

Team Leadership:

Recruit, train, and mentor a high-performing F&B team. Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork, accountability, and professional growth.

Guest Satisfaction:

Ensure that all guests receive prompt and attentive service, addressing any issues or concerns in a timely manner.

Financial Management:

Develop and manage departmental budgets, monitor food and beverage costs, and implement strategies to optimize revenue and control expenses.

Menu Development:

Collaborate with the culinary team to design and implement innovative and appealing menus that meet guest preferences and drive sales.

Quality Assurance:

Maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and hygiene, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.

Vendor Relations:

Establish and maintain relationships with suppliers and vendors to ensure the best quality products at competitive prices.

Event Coordination:

Work closely with the sales and events team to plan and execute successful banquets, conferences, and special events, ensuring all client needs are met.

Inventory Management:

Oversee the procurement, storage, and inventory of all food and beverage items, ensuring proper stock levels and minimizing waste.

Brand Compliance:

Ensure that all F&B operations are aligned with DoubleTree by Hilton brand standards and policies.

Qualifications:

Proven experience as a Food & Beverage Manager or in a similar leadership role within the hospitality industry, preferably with Hilton or other full-service brands.

Strong knowledge of food and beverage operations, including restaurant management, banquets, and cost control.

Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.

Exceptional customer service skills with a commitment to delivering memorable guest experiences.

Financial acumen and experience in managing budgets, forecasting, and controlling costs.

Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as needed.

A degree in Hospitality Management, Culinary Arts, or a related field is preferred.
