Human Resources Manager - Law Firm - Washington, DC - $105-125k

A flexible, hybrid schedule is available with this opportunity. In office 2-3 days per week.Job Description

Position Summary:The Human Resources Manager will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth functioning of the firm’s human capital. This individual will oversee a wide range of HR functions, including employee relations, benefits administration, talent acquisition, and performance management.Responsibilities:Employee Relations:

Manage employee relations issues, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and investigations.Foster a positive and inclusive work environment.Advise on employee relations policies and procedures.

Leaves Management:

Oversee the administration of all leave programs, including FMLA, ADA, and personal time off.Ensure compliance with federal and state leave laws.Process leave requests and manage return-to-work procedures.

Benefits Administration:

Manage the firm's benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and disability insurance.Coordinate annual open enrollment and benefits communication.Ensure compliance with all applicable benefits laws.

Talent Acquisition:

Recruit and hire top-tier talent for the firm.Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies.Conduct interviews and assess candidates' qualifications.

Performance Management:

Implement and manage the firm's performance review process.Provide coaching and development opportunities to employees.Address performance issues in a timely and effective manner.

HR Policy Development:

Develop and maintain HR policies and procedures.Ensure compliance with all applicable employment laws.

HR Data Management:

Maintain accurate employee records and data.Prepare HR reports and metrics.

Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management or a related field.5+ years of experience in a human resources management role, preferably in a law firm,Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.Strong organizational and time management skills.Proficiency in HR software and systems.Additional Preferred Qualifications:Experience with attorney recruiting and onboarding.Certification in Human Resources Management (SHRM-CP, PHR).To apply, please send your resume and references to durban@libertyjobs.comLiberty Personnel Services, Inc.300 Conshohocken State Road, Suite 750
