Essential Functions

Recruitment and selection process, including posting job openings, screening resumes, and scheduling interviews.

Support in developing, engaging, motivating, and preserving human capital.

Help maintain HR strategies, systems, tactics, and procedures across the organization.

Contribute to nurturing a positive working environment for all team members.

Administration of a performance appraisal system.

Support the maintenance of compensation and benefits programs.

Develop, implement, and monitor training programs.

Address team member demands, grievances, or other issues and support team member relations.

Help in ensuring legal compliance throughout human resource management.

Requirements

Previous experience as an HR generalist or specialist, with a strong focus on recruitment and administration.

Detail-oriented and organized.

Basic knowledge of HR systems and databases.

Good communication, active listening, and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work effectively with all levels of the company.

Familiarity with labor law and HR best practices in California is a plus.

Degree in Human Resources or related field, or equivalent experience.
