The VP Financial Planning & Analysis (VP FP&A) is a Values-Based Leader who inspires those around them. They uphold the mission, values, and vision of the enterprise. The VP FP&A is responsible for enterprise-wide financial planning and modeling, working closely with the CFO, CEO, and senior management team to establish and execute processes related to budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.Key Responsibilities:Values-Based Leadership and Self-Development:
Maintains a commitment to continuous learning and development as a Values-Based Leader.Team Development:
Manages an FP&A team across MFB companies, ensuring continuous professional development and coaching.Reporting and Analytics:
Manages all aspects of financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, analysis, and reporting for the Manatt Family of Businesses (MFB). Collaborates with departments to ensure alignment with organizational goals, leads the annual planning and budgeting process, and manages monthly financial reporting.Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:Business partnering, hands-on leadership, forecast analytics & insights, and executive presence.Excellent communication skills for conveying financial concepts to non-financial audiences.Proven people management skills and a strong desire to elevate teammate performance.Financial consulting and analysis skills.Proven corporate financial analysis and accounting experience.Experience and Education Requirements:Education Level:
4-year college degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business required.Work Experience:
10 years of related experience (FP&A, Financial Reporting, Finance Business Partner, etc.).Required Licenses and Certifications:
CPA preferred but not required.Direct Reports:
MFB ControllersReports To:
Chief Financial OfficerBehavioral Requirements:
Solid leadership skills and calm under pressure.Business / Technical Knowledge:
Knowledge of the construction industry, corporate, partnership, payroll, and sales tax issues.Other Qualifications:Ability to analyze and resolve problems in a fast-paced work atmosphere.Effective written and verbal communication skills.Ability to solve complex operating problems with standard and creative solutions.Keywords:Closed Date:
