Location: West Columbia, South CarolinaThe Director – Global Financial Planning and Analysis leads the FP&A function in providing planning, analysis and decision support and works closely with the Rail Leadership Team (RLT) in formulating the financial aspects of long range planning, annual planning, forecasting, and strategic and tactical business decisions, including acquisition and divestiture activity, across multiple product lines and geographies. The position will report to the VP, Finance of Harsco Rail with close collaboration with Corporate VP, FP&A.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Lead the quarterly forecasting and annual planning process in coordination with the Rail VP, Finance and Corporate VP, FP&A.Develop financial models and analyses to support strategic and finance initiatives, including long range plans and annual plans.Prepare, issue and maintain pulse reports for gross margin, bookings and free cash flow and communicate risks and opportunities vs. monthly and quarterly forecasts to the RLT.Develop and distribute relevant and timely management reports needed by the regional and business line leaders.Produce insightful and timely monthly and quarterly financial information as required by the RLT and corporate FP&A.Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual presentations for the RLT, Enviri Leadership Team, and Board of Directors.Maintain FP&A processes and tools utilized by regional finance teams.Assist with special financial and business-related studies.Support acquisition and divestiture activities and provide analysis and insight for other financial transactions.Provide ad-hoc analysis and support as needed.Lead and mentor a global FP&A function, including 3 direct reports and 5-7 indirect.Basic Qualifications:A. EducationBachelor’s degree in Finance or Business Administration.B. Experience10-15 years finance experience, including experience with an international, diversified industrial company.Preferred Qualifications:A. Education or ExperienceB. Interpersonal SkillsEffective oral and written communication skills.Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical data.Ability to write in a clear and concise manner.Highly motivated, self-starter, and disciplined in approach.Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.Must be highly organized and able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.C.
