Successful applicants must demonstrate:
Ability to respond to unpredictable business demands, keep multiple projects on track simultaneously and work well under pressure and short deadlines.Demonstrated initiative-taker, problem solver, and independent worker.Good oral, written communication skills.Good financial and ad hoc reporting skills.Ability to research, analyze, make recommendations and evaluate financial reports to detect potential problem areas within the accounts.Primary day-to-day responsibilities - Accountant
Report directly to CFO and routinely interact with the firm's global business and operational leadershipPerform day-to-day typical accounting activities related to accounts receivable and accounts payable.On a monthly basis, perform general ledger account reconciliations to include bank reconciliations.Create and document journal entries, prepaids, accruals, payroll, fixed asset related transactions.Assist in analysis of general ledger account activity to ensure proper recording of transactions.Deliver/communicate reports and findings to management when required.Preferred qualifications
Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance.3-5 years of progressive accounting/finance experience.Solid knowledge of and experience in performing account analysis, bank reconciliations, accounts payable and accounts receivable, general ledger, journal entries and producing financial reports.Advanced Excel, Word, PowerPoint skills.NetSuite accounting system experience highly desirable.Applicants must be able to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future.Application requirements include a CV/resume, cover letter.Why Renaissance Strategic Advisors?
