Summary of Position:

Support a lead Program Manager in managing and overseeing all aspects of a project to ensure it is completed on-time and within budget. Support the management of scope, cost, schedule, internal staffing and outside vendors, and contractual deliverables. Prepare reports for upper management regarding status of projects. Maintain understanding of complex tasks within the job function, and when necessary, direct technical aspects of the work of the project team.

US CitizenActive DoD Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) clearanceProject Management Professional (PMP) certification or DAWIA Practitioner Level in Program ManagementDetailed Qualifications:

4+ years supporting professional services and/or IT-related projects, preferably DCSA, DoD and/or ArmyBA/BS or MA/MS degreeRequired Skills:

Experience supporting a program office management, and all activities associated with program and project management, providing advice and recommendations on the management, operations, and control of existing programs and projects, and advisory support of new programs and projects.Experience implementing key disciplines and methodologies necessary for the implementation of programs and projects.Ability to plan; schedule; compile briefing materials; manage meetings; and perform note taking, editing, and publishing.Experience interacting with staff and senior leaders to ensure the efficient and effective execution of governance processes.Ability to translate stakeholder needs and expectations into statements assessing requirements, provide or interpret studies, analyses, scenarios, and reports that advise on best actions, and apply mission level thinking for current and emerging programs and projects.Ability to perform evaluations of existing procedures, processes, techniques, models and/or systems related to program and project issues which require reports and recommended solutions.Must demonstrate management and leadership abilities; written and oral communications skills; familiarity with industry best practices; and Government contracting.Preferred Skills:

Experience with the Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency (DCSA), or similar Defense agency, and associated stakeholders in a Defense environment is preferred.
